Conventional

A Conventional Loan refers to any mortgage loan that is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Government. They can be conforming and non-conforming loans. Conforming loans have terms and conditions that follow guidelines set by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

HomeStyle® Renovation

The HomeStyle® Renovation Loan program allows borrowers to purchase or refinance a property and include the repair/renovation costs in the loan with a single loan closing. Renovations must begin within 30 days of loan closing and be completed within 180 days.

  • Up to 50% of the as-completed value may be used for renovation/repair funds

A VA Loan (Veterans Administration) offers qualified Veterans in all 50 U.S. states a federally guaranteed home loan which requires little to no down payment and the following applies:

  • Available to U.S. Military personnel who have served 181 days during peacetime, 90 days during war, or honorably discharged—full details about eligibility can be found on the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs website
  • Available to a spouse of a serviceman either killed or missing in action
  • Services available to Veterans in danger of defaulting on their loans
  • Served after September 16, 1940
